One to one sessions are available on request and are a great way to get personalised attention and tailored exercises.
Whether this is your first child or fourth+, whether you are loving pregnancy or barely tolerating it. There are so many benefits to pregnancy yoga, let’s take a look:
- Periods of relaxation are essential in our lives at any time, but especially so during pregnancy and labour – knowing how to relax your body and mind will be a valuable tool postpartum too.
- Better sleep – calming the nervous system after a busy day can lead to more restorative sleep.
- Lower anxiety and worry – taking time out for yoga can help alleviate worries giving you more energy.
- Giving space for baby — connect with your baby by feeling their presence and nurturing that bond.
- Aches and pains? Safe stretches and postures can increase flexibility and strengthen your body – helping you feel more mobile and pain-free.
- Calming a busy mind — turning down the volume on your thoughts allows you to connect more deeply with your breath and body, building awareness and intuition — skills that are invaluable for labor.
- Pelvic floor exercises will be practiced together, with a range of options to find what works best for you.
- Community support — connecting with others can ease worries and fears, and who knows? You might even make a lifelong friend.
- Pelvic Girdle Pain – 1:1 sessions are particularly excellent for those suffering, but you’re welcome to join a class too.
